2008 Chicagoland Ride For Kids

This years event will start and end at Elgin Community College.
The ride is open to all brands of motorcycles and trikes.
 
Ride For Kids has been raising money for pediatric brain tumor research since 1984. 
Since 1984 over $37 millions dollars has been raised to find the cause and cure
for pediatric brain tumors. Last year, over $4.5 million was raised at the 37 rides
held across the country. The Chicagoland ride raised over $400,000. $.90 of every dollar
goes to fund the research and support programs.

4th Annual Area 4 Ride to Remember Memorial Motorcycle Ride

Sunday, July 27, 2008 - 10:00 a.m.

Area Four Detective Headquarters, 3151 W. Harrison - Harrison & Kedzie - West Parking Lot, Chicago, Illinois 60612. Registration: 8:00 - 9:30 a.m. sign in and line up.
Registration Includes: Memorial ride, Ride to Remember t-shirt, and party for all participants at Teamsters Local 705 Union Hall 1645 W. Jackson Blvd. Chicago
Food / Live music / Refreshments
The ride leaves Area Four Detective Headquarters at 10.00 a.m. and travels south on the Boulevards and east to the Memorial Site along the Lake Front where there will be a short program. All proceeds are donated to the Chicago Police Memorial Foundation. The event is open to the public and all makes and models are welcome. Thank you for your support.

Some of the following rides have this idea - Ride out Saturday morning and either ride back the same day or stay overnight.  Also, we will be looking to take more scenic routes, staying off the highways.
